I purchased this as an alternative to other alkaline water drops that use a higher dose of various minerals. I wanted something that was simpler as far as ingredients. This bottle was also bigger than the other drops I was using for the same price. I've been using the drops for about 3 weeks. So far, I've found it to be very easy to use and it does make drinks more alkaline. The bottle claims that it will purify unclean water, but I have not tried this method. I add it to water that is already purified or distilled water to make the water more alkaline. I think this is the safest method of use. It is helpful for people with Interstitial Cystitis, who specifically need water with high alkalinity to reduce pain and frequency. The suggestion on the label is 10 drops per 8 ounces of water. I have been able to add 1-2 drops and had success with raising the alkalinity. There is a saltier taste with this product, which I don't find problematic. It is not a heavy saltiness and I think it adds a little flavor to the drink. I find that this product is a little better than the other alkaline products because the ingredients are simple enough that it is easy to process. Some alkaline products add minerals like potassium chloride, which can be problematic for people with heart conditions. This products contains sodium chloride, which is salt. It can also be stored for a long period of time, so it can be used as a backup for emergencies. I carry it in my bag so that I can use it on the go. I put it in water I order at restaurants or while on vacation. It seems to work very well.

I rotate 3 0ne gallon water jugs that I use for drinking and to fill my dog's water bowl. I fill them with tap water from my kitchen sink, and it sits for at least 48 hours under my sink. I have 1 that sits on my counter, and 2 jugs, that rotate when I refill a jug with water that gets used up. I just did a taste test. Straight from my kitchen faucet, I drank the tap water, and the taste was horrible. I then took a sip of the 48 hour jug of water. It was a whole lot better in taste. Then I put about 2 oz of the 48 hour jug of water in a glass, and 2 drops of this Ion water treatment in that glass. And it was so, so, much better tasting. Amazing!

I have only been using these ION drops for a few days but I feel more revitalized and am sleeping more deeply. My skin is back to having its red undertones rather than the yellowish tint I get when I'm depleted from work/life stress and not taking the best care of myself. I drink it in my water with a lemon or lime slice. I'm not saying it's a "cure-all" but I am feeling hopeful that it might help me get back into balance along with other good choices. Recommend! I should add that I drink about 96 ounces of water with lemon or lime a day and add about 30 ION drops for every 24 ounces of water. The directions suggest 10-15 drops per every 8 ounce.

Just as advertised

I use Ion everyday in my water. I don’t mind the taste at all. I also put it in my girls juice everyday to help them not get sick. I can feel a difference in the way I feel when I don’t use it. Definitely recommend this product! I’ve also ordered their burn treatment and it works better than anything else I’ve used!

I only added 1 drop per oz. of water. No taste in the water! I tested the ph and it looks to be around about 9.0. The vial on the left is my tap water (around 7.5) the one in the middle is water using a profiltr (around 8.0) and the one on the far right is with the ion drops (around 9.0). You have to use a ph test that is for testing drinking water only. I see some people using wrong type of test. I am not buying any more profiltrs and sticking with ion drops, it's much more economical.
